Just because someone does not have a piece of paper that says he's qualified to do something does not discount that person as an expert in my opinion.

I had an associates degree in drafting and no engineering degree or background when I hired on as the lowest paid person in the engineering department as an illustrator at $3.90 per hour. But I was able to diagnose causes of defects and was creative enough to fix state of the art investment castings for jet engines that PHD's in metallurgy could not fix. Over time I was regarded in the industry as the best gating engineer in the world for investment castings . I worked there 25 years never asked for a raise or a promotion and when I retired I was the senior engineer in the department I worked 3 ten hour days a week, had full benefits and had three X bonuses. During the time I worked at PCC, the company had changed it's hiring policy so that only people with college degrees were hired for engineering positions. Many of these new hires were trained under my direction. Also we held classes for customers to educate them on how to take advantage of investment castings and I tought classes to engineers from NASA maybe you've heard of it.

I also designed and built my own home in spight of having no license in electical or plumbing or masonry or framing, I built a beautiful home, wired and plumbed it myself. It passed all of the stringent building codes required by our county. The plumbing inspector told me it was one of the cleanest plumbing jobs he had ever seen. My first attempt in masonry was building a river rock fireplace on the inside and flagstone facing on some of the outside. strangers driving by stop and ask me who did the masonry work on my home and compliment us on the quality of our home.

My uncle Fred dropped out of high school because he was poor and kids made fun of his clothes at school. He and his brothers and sisters worked very similar to migrant workers today. He is a self made multimillionaire who worked at PGE, farmed and built houses.

My point is that I don't give a crap if someone has a piece of paper that says they're qualified to be an authority in anything. And I think your attempt to discredit Biajj is inappropriate and not supported by most on this forum.

And for the record respect is something you earn not a right and just because you have a piece of paper that says you are qualified to do somthing dosn't mean you are. And this kind of attack strikes at the heart of who you are in my view as a person. I did not ask questions of Biajj in an attempt to discredit him and I feel badly that this is how my questioning of him has degraded. Biajj brings a lot of knowledge and wisdom to this forum in spight of whether he has a law degree or not. He has been driven from this forum once by a few here when most here would welcome his posts to evaluate his thoughts regarding PTSC and the MMP. Collectively we are smarter when we are united and we can share information from many sources with strengths in whatever field they are strong in regardless of their experience, background and education. This was once a great place to get information and it still is but it could be better in my view if Biajj and Ronran returned here and people drop this nonsense and start acting like adults.

All the best,

Steve
