More on Moore.........

I'm confused by one of the statements made by Moore concerning revenue generated after July of 2008. He can't be right when he states $1 million in licenses. I also agree with Opty's opinion that there are always two sides to the story. I don't know Mr. Moore from a hole in the wall but, I would be willing to bet his standard of integrity far out strips anything coming from the TPL brass. With that said, I do believe at some point money has become an issue for TPL. Their quest to be accepted by the microprocessor industry and join their ranks, has come at a high price per Moore's information. You have the ago old problem of a musician and his record label. He loves the album they've created and produced. He tells all his family and friends about his masterful work. Problem is, the record company sunk millions into producing the album which currently sits at 150 on the billboard 100. At some point, IMO, TPL came to the reality that the barriers to entry are to tall at this juncture. They have no economies of scale and are currently eating millions in R&D. This certainly dispells some of the thoughts that existed concerning TPL sitting on piles of cash. When you think about it the situation is quite ironic. It appears that TPL is in a similiar situation to our very own PTSC. Their attempt to enter the processor industry appears to have come at a high price.
Mr. Moore, like all inventors, is upset because his baby had the rug pulled out from under it. I don't work in that industry so I have no opinion or thought whether it's right or wrong. I would speculate that it is the Leckrone's who have learned the greatest lesson in the process. If you read the info off Moores site, I don't get the impression that he is the worlds greatest money manager. I'm not sure how anyone could be cash strapped after receiving $11 million in income. This really is a pissing contest between large egos. What I don't want to see is fragmentation that results in licenses being stifled. It is this concern alone that has me worried. Patriot is facing to monster obstacles 1) Major Patent Reform and 2) Patent Expirations. We do not have the luxury, of time or capital, to begin a new relationship or embark on our own licensing campaign I look forward to the conference call on the 14th. There should be several interesting questions that can be thrown at them.
