In your saying that "TPL gets a bit more MMP revs to offset some of their personnel costs" in my opinion misrepresents, or soft sells the truth a bit. The truth is that ALL OF TPL's MMP RELATED COSTS - Personnel and otherwise are covered PLUS SOME, and then they ALSO get the PURE PROFIT of the 50/50 split. In PTSC's case, the PURE PROFIT portion has to go to pay OUR MANAGEMENT AND OTHER EXPENSES. In TPL's case, their profit portion is simply that PURE PROFIT. They also make ADDITIONAL profit on the expense portion that they charge PDS. And if you take into account Chuck Moore's allegation of "commingling" of funds, there's an argument to be made that some of the expenses being charged to PDS, may not be MMP related. Hard to prove without an audit.

As for why they haven't paid Moore, or why they killed the S40 chip, I think they likely haven't paid Moore because they dispute the amount owed. If in fact they owe only $6M vs the $40M Moore contends, I'd argue that it's good business IF there is a legal battle brewing there, NOT to enrich their potential adversary so that he can simply fund his battle with them. May be cut-throat business tactics, but hardly something that isn't practiced daily all over the world. As for the S40, maybe they don't think it's viable, maybe they want to clear the air with Moore first, I have no idea. The point I'm trying to show is that MMP is PURE PROFIT, and NO COST to TPL. And it seems our BOD is OK with that. I'm not necessarily NOT OK with that, I simply want to be sure THROUGH TRANSPARENCY, that the comapny that tried to take advantage of PTSC from the beginning, isn't continuing to do so.
