To be clear, by "strengthened" I think you mean that it is more precise and defined and unchallengeable now, though to a probably narrower group of infringers because of that refinement. I juxtapose that with the interpretation that the re-exam "strengthened" the patent by opening it to a new larger group of infringers. I believe you mean the former. I think "amended and strengthened" can canote a broader meaning than you may have intended.
