I asked a friend who was a procurement officer in the Air Force and after that worked on Capital Hill as a contracts attorney about the signifacance of the GSA. Below is his response:
"It really all depends on how they use it. The contract itself is not too significant, it merely provides a vehicle for sales...it has been analogized to a hunting license. But it does facilitate the process if there are federal customers waiting to buy. So it's a matter of time will tell."
