When claims are amended, they certainly are narrowed. The extra elements are almost automatically more limiting. Claims are and will be amended in these cases. That means they are NARROWER and enforcement likely becomes more difficult since the spectre of past damages no longer looms.
NUTZEN... From my understanding the oppisite is true.... an ammned claim generally makes the patent stronger and is certianly not an automatically more limiting... (please back this statement)... The 336 was rejected so how would ammended claims make it weaker... this makes it seem like you think you will talk down the price.... the recent events have certianly made the MMP more powerful.....
