But seriously if the patent expires in 2009 why waste time amending claims, eh additionally while the license covers prior years they are primarily sold to cover current sales

And finally at this point the patents carry a 3-5 cent per share value in the price of the stock so any possibilty of continued licensing will be accretibe to the share price.

Of course you might know more than T,T & C.. but as both teh 584 and 336 were both final rejected and now they have some life I'm in better shape than I was last week.
