Why is Moore claiming ownership now?

I find it odd (provided this whole Moore-drama is not fiction...) Moore is claiming ownership of his patents NOW.

So one could speculate TPL/PTSC are selling the MMP to someone who only purchase the MMP if there are NO further obligations on it (after the patents are re-validated) - and paying Moore could be one obligation. And Moore is afraid he would be out of the (financial) picture if the MMP was sold.

Well, wild speculation, but as long nothing happens it's nice to twist things a little bit.
