It would seem that HP has quite a big foot in the door now that they own EDS. They now own the 360,000 computers and infrastructure that make up the Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). Hopefully the ties to EDS are so strong that the dept of Navy will be unable to put NGEN out on competitive bid. Note the references to NGEN. And on the second link note that two of our partners SRA Intl and SAIC are currently listed as prime contractors for NGEN. This is about the future, but it is nice to see that our partners are so well positioned.
