L2 is not for everybody.
if your holding stock in a 401k and plan on holding long term.... well the L2 probably not something worth checking out.. Its like watching/analyzing the football plays ( on offense and defense)...but at the end..you only care about the final score of the game...
Other people enjoy watching/analyzing the plays.....because they can learn to appreciate whats going on.....trade/react based on the information they are watching develop.
If your trader/flipper/ or purchased shares on brokerage on cash.... it becomes alot of fun/way of life..... especially when you hold a significant # of shares ( the move from .09 - .14 is already a 50% return...).. ..... some flip/trade to gain profit shares or free shares..... pulling their capital out after quick profits and waiting for re-entry or the next swing possibility....accumulating shares without as much risk....
Personally... i would never trade in a stock without having L2 access... and i dont purchase a stock without watching the L2 for at least a few days..... just the way i trade.
Everyone trades differently...and everyones level of entertainment differs as well...
Making money is never boring... lol......
