I could be wrong but when someone actually rates you with more 'stars', your vote count goes up but your points will reflect lower. I think this is due to your overall points are based upon the amount of 'thumbs' you've accumulated. The more stars (votes) you have, the more thumbs-up it will take to maintain your point level. (I think someone voted for you, which is good).
