as I recall it was May of '05 when PTSC and TPL formed the JV. Prior to that the 2 companies were arguing over ownership. Subsequent to May, they unified their interests and started their licenesing efforts. That is the time when Roger Cook stated that "the MMP appears to be a patent litigator dream". There were also statements from the company like ".....MMP is like having a patent on water..." or something to that effect. Still waiting.
