You are correct in that both income sources can be HIGHLY profitable. And if they do ramp up significantly, it will change things dramatically. So that is a POSITIVE in keeping with your post yesterday.

What remains concerning though is the last time that the positive ramp up in revenue happened, the sitting BOD managed to funnel much of that money OUT of the company treasury DESPITE an articulated plan that they wanted to begin an M&A business strategy for which cash reserves would obviously be critical. In addition to that, they seemed to have done so in a way that dispropotionately rewarded specific investors who had ties to the BOD through appointed representatives that sit there. Also, those same BOD members were renumerating themselves quite handsomely at the same time.

Because those members still sit there and those members still have all the same ties they had previously, and those members don't necessarily show qualifications that ring as essential based on the current business plan of the company, the perception at the least is that history will repeat itself. Aside from the hiring of RG, and the appointment of Schrock, little has really been done that would reflect any real change in their M.O. Even the Crossflo acquisition has ties to people who were previously related with PTSC and/or current or former BOD members.

And that seems to speak to the points you raise. In reality, PTSC IS in better financial condition than most companies, and certainly many BB companies. That being said, they could have been in far better condition absent certain past decisions. So the question is how much of the current price malaise is due to the fact that many investors are very concerned that history will repeat itself and that money that could and should be used to build the company instead will be funneled off to specific interests who still have significant power in the comapny. I'd argue that a portion of the "drag" on the share price can be attributed to those concerns.

Go find four new directors who have excellent qualifications in Software, Secure Data Exchange, Acquisition Structuring, Intellectual Property, etc. etc. and reconstitute the board with them and Schrock and Tredennick, and place a Schrock or another well qualified and experienced person who is aligned with RG in the Chairman postion, and given no other changes than that, I'd suggest the pps would react significantly positively, and "good news" would have a substantially larger and positive effect on the pps than any news we get now does.
