When is it needed?

1• When leadership needs to get above the day-today tasks and

think about the bigger picture.

2• When service or product portfolios are being evaluated

3• When the parent organization experiences a change in strategy

or faces a new imperative

4• When success factors need to be developed and articulated

5• When the function’s business model is being evaluated
