And part of fiduciary duty is not to let the cat out of the bag, and to honor applicable NDAs.

The fiduciary duty in a Trustee/beneficiary relationship, though in some ways different, is very similar to a corporation/public relationship. Would it be approprate for a Trustee to disclose to the public the assets of the Trust, and how much of those assets each beneficiary is entitled? Must a Trustee disclose in a public forum (e.g., PR) his intent and actions, in detail, in managing that Trust? If he did, he will have failed in his fiduciary duty. BTW, legally, a Trustee does not have to disclose proposed actions to the beneficiaries, only the results of actions via a full accounting.

PS: I have been a Trustee for a multi-million $ trust, and have provided consultant services on 3 others.
