Thanks for your interesting and insightful info. With the info from PTSC ( 8-31-08 ---- almost one year ago ) it sounds to me like though Avot is technically a private company it is set up to be aquired or go public. The On2 transaction may help establish a public offering price. I would believe that it could only be part of the equation from their end. Others who buy the shares might look to the On2 deal as a guide. PTSC states that they "have concluded" that they do not have the ability to exercise significant control over Avot. But IMO they have some control and it would be more than most. Remember the Holocom deal with a note that they used to pick up the company? What is with the 3-09 loan note they have with Avot? Remember the Crossflo deal? This company is into aquiring other companies as shown by past history. Maybe PTSC will be the "Google" to buy Avot?? Perhaps not? But then it seems that when one segment of the market starts to get bought up it starts with one or two companies and then rises to even greater numbers, ie bank mergers, phone mergers, hotels. All in the name of consolidation. So we wait... It will be interesting to see the next report.
