Isn't that how the system works now? The big corporations make large contributions to the political campaines and in return the party in power (democrat or republican) favors these corporations in government contracts not necessarily what's best for the country but what's best for the party in power. This seems to be the reality. So I wonder which party HP made political contributions to? If any? As I see this being a factor in PDSG getting some government contracts. I don't think it matters who has the best secure data software package as much as the connections the company has with bigger corporations and the government party in power which imo will decide who is awarded contracts.
