For every company that has had a successful reverse split, there seems to be a myriad that fail. The failures often lead to fatal results for the company and shareholders. IMHO, a reverse split would be a terrible fiasco now
Apart from the fact that no one is talking about this moment in time, the myriad of failures were in the process of failing anyway, the reverse split merely delayed the inevitable.
Look at why some companies had a successful reverse split and then compare to those that failed. If you look very carefully, you'll find the failures were losing money consistently and more often than not had growing debt, whereas the opposite was true for those that were successful.
