I think you'll find that several posters pointed out the USPTO intent to post the NIRC during the week commencing August 17. Had it not been posted until the 21st or 22nd, it would have left little or no time in which to review the documentation and submit an appeal within the stated time frame ie August 23. Filing an Appeal, when none was apparently needed, by August 23, would also be a waste of resources and time of both the USPTO and Henneman.
It is for this reason that the requested 30 day extension was made and approved.
The salient point is not the extension nor Gazette confirmation but the fact of the NIRC. As stated, "all substantive issues have been resolved" which means that the patent will be revalidated to the satisfaction of both the examiner and Henneman.
No "pumping" just statement of fact.
