"appears" gives the notion that our patent attorney mis-read the interview summary, lied to the examiner, or the examiner lied. If not one of these, what is it?

Perhaps "appears" is the wrong term? Delayed for some unknown reason, might be more to the point, given what we have been told. Yes?
