I was just now able to view the IFW. The original request for reexam was filed by express mail, so I think they get assigned the date that it was submitted to the PO. But if that date was August 24th it is late.

<2) Correspondence filed in accordance with § 1.10 will be stamped with the date of deposit as "Express Mail" with the United States Postal Service.>

I am assuming that the August 24th date on the transaction history represents the date that the submission was oficially received. Perhaps is is only the date of posting and not reflective of the date received. But I doubt that is the case, since the original posting on the transaction history was April 24 the exact same date as the mailing date of express mail. Hmmmmm
