i agree with most of your post. But I have a hard time reading posts supporting the BOD and the sweeping away of the managment blunders. I have no bone to pick with you or anyone else on this board. For me, the bottom line is the current group running the company have squandered too many golden opportunities to be given a pass. A company cannot survive incompetence at the top. Steve, when the BOD literally removed all employees and turned complete control over to TPL I was surprised. I gave Pohl time because he proposed an "umbrella model" that in theory had some merit. But the dumping of the treasury as the first round of revenues hit the coffers in the form of dividends with the provision of granting warrant holders (S&L) dividends defied logic and common business sense. This revenue was the first time PTSC had actually generated revenue and instead of implementing the "umbrella model"....the BOD emptied the treasury into the already bloated pockets of S&L. The Agoracom board assumed there must be lots of cash in the treasury for PTSC to do this......and we found out later that was not the case.
I dont think S&L was what I call "smart money", but more "free money". They were given a free press to print shares, reprice the shares and continually dump them on the market at the share holders expense.
So given the above sentiments of mine, I find it hard to support the BOD. Steve, the BOD has too many ties to the debt financer it dumped the treasury to. This stuff is not overlooked by investors. The BOD is there because of past relationships not because of a skill set to grow the company. This is not overlooked by investors. IMO there will always be a "beware flag" around PTSC as long as the same BOD that made those decisions is still in place making the crucial decisions to move PTSC forward. Their track history as a BOD is all one has to make a "do I invest" or "pass" on. I invested so long ago that the BOD was not a question...it was the patents and the potential products being developed. But the BOD became the focal point the day they decided to remove the product development and engineering group. The company is the BOD and the BOD is directly responsible and should be held accountable....not rewarded with travel allowances, stock options and excessive salaries.
I hope the recertified patents give us legs to grow the stock price but I am skeptical because of the BOD and the perception they have shrouded over PTSC. RG is trying to remove the shroud but when the curtain is pulled back.....the same old group is calling the shots.
Yes, there is a group that feel anything negative posted about PTSC will scare away investors. I disagree. An honest discussion on the positives and negatives of a company is what most readers of a forum are looking for. I promise to never post anything regarding the BOD as long as I dont have to read the posts defending and praise of the BOD.
all the best to you and i hope one day our PTSC investment will be profitable.
