Infringers must find similar microprocessor systems, not the simple integrated circuit prior art that was used in earlier exams. Much of what what done to the 336, is eliminating prior art that could still be used in the future with some new request for reexam. Neither the patent owner or the USPTO want to see the 336 again. And that is a good thing.
