My thoughts are that the MOU may be tied to future royalties for ARM cores if TPL wins a judgement of infringement with ARM sometime in the future. Then the J's would have to cough up their portion for lincensing the ARM cores which was removed by TPL to simplify the case with the J's. I don't know what percentage of ARM chips the J's used in their products? Just a delusional thought.
