Total operating expense for 3 months ending 2009-07-04: $2.732B

That's why it's not news to Textron. Any payment to TPL and PTSC is the 3rd or 4th digit from the left on their quarterly expenses, a blip. If it were significant, they would be obligated to inform their shareholders.

It might be significant to PTSC/TPL, it might be big to you, but it isn't to Textron. To say otherwise is to be blatantly ignorant of scale.
