Some companies sounds like more than one to me. These billion dollar companies would be paying one time lump sums imo if the fee level remained where it was prior to the revalidation of the 336. I think the PR was clear in its message that the license fees have gone up. DL said years ago that those companies that decide to wait are just saying they will pay more.

You and I know why the licenses were sold on the cheap prior to the 336 revalidation, there is a good reason now after the 336 revalidation that DL is acting on his threat of escalating the license fees. From Moore's blog we were able to find out that TPL may be hurting financially. Now maybe you think DL is going to play the nice guy to these companies that broke off negotiations pending the 336 outcome, and continue to give licenses away on the cheap. Common sence tells me he's not going to be that nice.

I agree that the market which hasn't been living this everyday for a few years will be waiting to see proof
