If things are as TPL and others here say, and the volume is picking up in "waves", I think they should make Tuesdays license PR day. Each Tuesday, they can announce all the licenses they sold the previous week.

It allows them to bunch the data and release costs if they want (and as they should IMO). It also saves them money on the cost of issuing individual PR's each time they sign a license deal. It also give the market a bit of a predictable metric to judge progress by.

Also, if indeed there is a "rush" to license now that the '336 recert is completed, it projects a strength and "ineveitability" to the unsigned infringers, that you better get your license NOW, because they're only going up, and your competitors are singing up.
