If PTSC and TPL asked the judge for an extention because they are in settlement talks according to a court filing noted in a earlier post, then why is everyone speculating about a buyout from AMD or INTEL?

If PTSC and TPL where able to come to any kind of agreement it would be incredible. Instead of being on hold for the next 3 to five years with appeals, motions, etc. we would be able to move forward immediately.

As far as Swartz goes he is not able to have in his possession at any one time more then a small percentage of the outstanding shares. So why wouldn`t he be selling everytime this takes a pop. If he was to wait for the home run then dump he would kill the stock. Besides his cost basis can`t be much more the 5 cents a share. He was funding the company for years when it was trading between 2.5 and 5 cents.
