I was not to clear after rereading my message..... Companies during thier earnings have an area for disclosing possible events...which the company should tell about material events... like patent infringment... the company can write down earning based on possible infringment... they may not mention any write downs ... and say "it has no merit"(which they always say)... but we @ least know TPL is asking for real money!!!
