Crappy 10Q, dismissal of the CEO and head of Bus.
I think most of us understand that the PDSG product sales is requiring more time to develop. You should know that contracts requiring government funding can take some time. The dismissal of the CEO is concerning but at the same time people on this forum were calling for his head because he hadn't delivered yet.
We also know that the licenses in the Q were made before the recertification of the 336. So no one should have been surprised that these licenses were for smaller amounts.
The wording in the PR from Alliasence was a varification that rates have in fact gone up now and that some of these companies are making more than one payment because of the higher cost. We have seen three new licenses and the PR states that hundreds of companies are re-engaging in talks. These are all positive signs.
So I believe the expectation for the next Q better show some significant licensing dollars. The SP should respond if it is significant.
Dev., questionable strength of patents, etc., etc.
I don't think that Alliasence would have stated that the 336 was strengthened by the recertification if it wasn't true. We know from the Choate report that a recertified patent is a strengthened patent after the USPTO reexamination.
Not so rosy IMO. Greater blindness as to what's going on and what's coming than in any time in recent memory, yet a sustained (inflated IMO) PPS. Hence my questions and plea for assistance, seeing how I'm considering a re-investment here. Perhaps you are the person who can assist me most? I solicit your input!
Lets just say its rosier than it was before the recertification of the 336. With PTSC I would remain cautiously optomistic. You have to make up your own mind as to wether or not to reinvest. You say you think the PPS is inflated, I would say it may be a bargain.
All the best,
Steve
