Good morning all:
One more thought regarding the "flagship" denotation of CDX in the recent PRs. In the definitional application, the flagship identifier is denoting CDX as the main product among a pool of products within PDSG. In that respect, I would agree. My asserting a possible revision of that flagship product being logically forthcoming seems relevant, given that it is the most important piece of the PDSG pie and deserves that most resources be directed to it and spent on it.
And now for something completely different (que the man with a tape recorder up his nose). I was considering how we, here in this forum, are relegated to squeezing every ounce of detail from any publicly available source regarding our investment in PTSC. We first take the literal meaning from whatever source is available, then search for possible hidden meanings, reading between every line and inferring (rightly or wrongly) meaning from every piece of evidence or premise. This, of course, leads to great speculation by default. In and of itself, speculation is not a bad thing, but it does inevitably end up being just a way to pass the time while we await any definitive information or a move in the share price. We are experts at trying to connect the dots, and while I have contributed to this phenomenon and, in aggregate, we all have uncovered some relevant and interesting pieces of the puzzle (Moore's web-log saga comes to mind), it seems we will alway be wanting more than we are receiving from our Company. In short, we wait, and wait, and wait!
In case anyone finds this post critical, please rest assured that I am not criticizing this forum, but rather I am of like mind with those here who share a general angst when it comes to my investment. The PPS never seems to move when I think it should, and when it does it appears to defy the news of the day (more often than not, lol). The Company seems devoted to a cloak and dagger methodology when it comes to communicating with investors, and I don't mean just when NDAs are involved. Of all the stocks I have owned, this one is most definitely of elevated "soap opera" quality, so much so that I cannot stop watching! So here I remain, trying to keep my head above water with the best of you.
As always, I am awaiting something positive to reduce the uncertainty surrounding PTSC. I think I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue! (HA!!)
Here's to better times.
Cheers,
DG
