You just don't go to Chicago to announce bad news. WHY. Doesn't make sense. Unless the terms of a merger are not in the best interest of common shareholder?

This seems like a chance for the BOD to redeem themselves by proudly announcing some great news. By being part of a something great. Considering how much they have been paid over the years, it would be nice if they could pull this off and exceed expectations for once.
