If a buyout, it would involve PDSG and not the MMP for the exact reason(s) as you stated..

PDSG could be neatly carved out..and something that Baroni (and his various contacts) may be interested in...he (Baroni) obviously sees interest / potential in this arena (seems a rather self serving bloak based on prior dealings)..or he is just being well paid for his services by PTSC..and he could not turn it down..hope it is more of the former..
