I just received a phone call and an e-mail from Mike Doubek who is the Executive Director of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. Upon further research, here is what he found. He did say that although Mr. Johnson was a President elect, there was no indication that he ever continued on to become the President. He believes that Mr. Johnson moved to GA when he became associated with Rosewell. This may account for why he never took office as the President of this association.

Lesson learned: Just because you get information from what you believe are credible sources, sometimes people make mistakes...me included. Again apologies to Mr. Johnson and to this board for passing along info that had not been completely researched.
