THE PATENTS, for all their importance, haven't managed to keep this over two dimes.
BoD and management, not THE PATENTS, made the decision to get led around by the nose by TPL. And for all their supposed irrelevance, BOD and management have managed to squander nearly all the income to date from THE PATENTS.
I do agree that PTSC's only businesss is THE PATENTS. But the BoD and their management dictate the success of that business.
I'll put it this way. THE PATENTS are intellectual property on paper. They do not issue irresponsible dividends, collect salaries, issue themselves options, play musical chairs with management positions, make promises at shareholder meetings, and occasionally attend board meetings. In short, patents just are. It takes a BoD and management to convert THE PATENTS into shareholder value. Or to waste their potential and rob shareholders blind.
