You say to GE: "Maybe we should decieve them!"

Reality check. By complaining about the BoD, YOU are deceiving them!

As I said earlier, it's all about the patents.

When I first invested in PTSC, I didn't give a damn about the BoD. And I still don't, in any serious way. They are there, and that's the way it is.

Initially, way back when, I invested in PTSC because of their patented Ground Penetrating RADAR (and Princess Di was really pushing for solutions to the world-wide proliferation of land mines - and we had a solution for their detection), and certain SONAR technology. I knew there was a demand for it from the DoD, and for the related patented secure communications technology, because it all fit with the (huge) Land Warrior Program. They already had development contracts with the DoD. That's why I invested. Patents. I never even looked at the BoD. And, since they had already secured contracts, I only passively looked at the management at the time. They eventually sold off this tech.

Next, I got excited about the Shboom and the possibilities for it's widespread adoption to run Sun's JAVA as a solo or co-processor. I even got an article published about it.

That didn't appear to be going anywhere, so I jumped ship and moved my assets to EDIG. Why? Not because of their BoD. Not because of their management. Because of their patents and their engineering staff. But management was very weak, and when this became blatantly obvious, and when they delayed action (endlessly it seemed) on defending their patents, I jumped ship and moved back to PTSC. Why? Because of the patents.

Think. In every case I can recall over the past 5-6 years, when something really significant happened to PTSC's PPS, up or down, it had to do with one thing only - the patents. The only time I recall anything happening due to something other than the patents, it was when the first two dividends were announced. But other than that, it's ALWAYS been about the patents. ALWAYS. Not the BoD, not management - THE PATENTS.

So who is spewing deceipt? IMO, the people directing all attention to the thing that IMO matters the least - the BoD. The BoD matters the least because they have zero participation in the litigation/negotiation and licensing activity of THE PATENTS.

Another reality check: When the big money comes from the patents, and the PPS pops big, are you really planning to hang around to see what the company does with the money? I suspect your eyes will be directed at the same things as mine. First, recouping my investment, and then some (and maybe a complete cash out). Second, more licenses/income (and maybe a complete cash out). Third, and this is where the BoD would come into play assuming you were still holding a single share of stock, share buy-backs and dividends.

I strongly suspect that 90% of the people here will completely cash out at the next big pop. That's what I suspect 90% of the people here are waiting for. Might hold some shares just for the heck of it, but probably in hopes of more action based on the patents.

Maybe I'm completely wrong with my attitude and suspicions about what people will most likely do, but that's my plan. And with this plan, I couldn't care less what the BoD does with the money after I've made mine, and I'm likely long gone.

In light of all this, how important is the BoD to your plan? Are you married to this stock, and don't intend to sell a single share until the BoD and Management take the money and successfully leverage it for a small (in the scheme of things) return?

Gosh, the company could have PDSG get a contract with the USG with a 5% profit, maybe even 10%! Whooppee! I'll hang on for that!

Reality.
