I have never said that pumping works at all in comparison with bashing. Bashing works. For some unknown reason, humans react to and are more receptive of the negative. Just watch the nightly news - not too many happy stories in there. But many people watch it every night.

I do agree that it will be fundamentals and perceived worth, actually based on something tangible, that will move the PPS up significantly.

But IMO we've seen all it takes to bring the PPS down: year-end tax-loss selling, people just needing cash for the holidays, and that other thing.... All during a period when the ONLY thing that really changed in the PTSC situation was a credible addition to the BoD.

And it must be coincidental that the PPS is up about 3 cents from where it was when the intense bashing stopped. What changed? What tangible (not purely speculative) thing happened? Oh, tax-loss selling ended, the holidays ended, and that other thing dissipated. But those first two things ended last week....

If it didn't work they wouldn't do it. And certainly not so methodically.
