(SAN DIEGO) - Holocom, the leading provider of proprietary, high-security protective distribution systems (PDS) for SIPRNet and other classified networks, today announced the introduction of an exterior, building-mounted secure enclosure to interface between mobile military tactical communications platforms and building voice/data networks. StealthCom Solutions of Colorado Springs, CO identified the need for this product for US Army units at Fort Carson, CO.
The Holocom vehicle/building interface improves communications efficiency by allowing real-time tactical communications to feed into a building's office, conference room, VTC room, or operations center from a tactical communications platform parked outside the building. The secure enclosure also ensures a tactical communications cable feed without compromising environmental protection to the cable interface.
Scott Beeson, VP Engineering for Holocom, said "Holocom not only listens to customers and industry partners, we actively solicit product ideas. As a small business with engineering and manufacturing processes in place, we're able to respond quickly when our partners approach us with a new product requirement."
