You pose a false dilemma. This BoD is "solving" problems that they created, similar to politicians who create problems and then campaign agains them.

The umbrella strategy was/is not a flawed strategy, any more so than the dividend strategy, the buyback strategy or most other business strategies. The reason that we don't have the money to execute on the strategy is a direct result of actions or inactions by this BoD. That we don't have the talent is crystal clear, again attributable to this BoD.

What appears even clearer after the recaps from those who attended is that we really don't have the talent to execute on ANY strategy, and in fact, that a strategy is actually absent at this point in reflection of that.
