I'm going to have to ask you to substantiate your allegation that investors have had their character, abilities, and integrity attacked on this forum without foundation.
I humbly suggest that the main reason that most invested here was to obtain a substantial return on their investment not available from Fortune500 Companies. The higher the expected return, the greater the potential risk.
It wasn't the BoD that determined one should invest "a large portion of their nesteggs" in PTSC, nor was it the BoD that made the decision to retain that investment in PTSC as the share price fluctuated. By the same token that the BoD should be held responsible for their actions, so should investors.
So, why are people still invested, and some still buying? One word, Greed - a powerful motivator, in my opinion. The decision is taken to wait for the MMP Portfolio to hit the proverbial "pay dirt". But, hey, I expected it, like, yesterday, man, would appear to be the reason that most are complaining(corrections more than welcomed).
Does one blame the USPTO for the time taken to determine ex-parte requests?, no, the ex-parte requestor?, no, wait, why not blame the BoD? That's it, blame the BoD for not giving one the anticipated riches and wealth that the original investment decision was based on.
GREED was the mistake.
