<"know what they own" crowd >
I guess it is exactly this kind of statement that gets me angry. I have never stated anything like I know what I own on this or any other board. But I believe I know what I own.
When Ron talks about the "Know what they own" crowd, I take offense because I consider myself in that group. Is Ron referring only to Rebecca or am I, and everyone else that believes they know what they own, included?
Anyhow, what is wrong with believing you know what you own? Should we invest only where we have no clue what we own, in that way never to think we know what we own? And yes, of course, not everyone knows to the same extent, and that is what makes a market for stocks. People sharing the same information will have differing degrees of knowing what they own and comfort level owning it at different price levels.
Wonder if this one will be allowed to remain?
