<A) While representing a client, a member shall not communicate directly or indirectly about the subject of the representation with a party the member knows to be represented by another lawyer in the matter, unless the member has the consent of the other lawyer.>
For those of us who have difficulty understanding legalese, could you please confirm that MEMBER would be a member of the law firm representing a client. If so, it would seem that this whole section 2-100 has the intent to control representing attorneys, not the attorneys client.
