If it never had a chance, why do it? To give the appearance of taking up the charge for the average shareholder.
Why would a lawyer (or lawyers) want to give the appearance of being on the side of the average shareholder and work so hard to herd the naive into thinking he is their savior? This followed by the gathering of personal information, share count etc??
Why would this person or group work so hard for years now (rather than just sell and move on like most level-headed investors) to drive shareholder discontent while working to gather share count information of the masses who feel out of control and want someone - anyone - to do something?
It's become quite obvious what the grand plan here is.
