Message: Response from PTSC

I recently wrote to PTSC and received a response yesterday (Sunday). Here it is unedited (except for my last name and personal e-mail address). I was a bit emotional when I wrote it as evidenced by my heart donor comment. I get the feeling that whomever is on the PTSC end has a list of cut and paste answers to any/all of our questions.

Dear Ms. XXX:

Our licensing revenues are stalled in large part due to our present litigation with TPL and, also, due to re-examinations by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Subject: The future of PTSC

I'm not sure who will be reading this but I'd like to take a few minutes to speak.

First, when I invested in PTSC four years ago, it was my understanding that the MMP patent portfolio was the only product that was generating revenue and that with over 400 infringers on notice, this could possibly be a revenue generating product beyond anyone's wildest dreams. At this moment in time, it doesn't appear that the MMP portfolio is generating much of anything but pain for all shareholders. As the years went by and shareholders waited for every milestone (Markman, J3 trial, settlement, re-exam(s), new CEO(s), litigation, M&A) with no return of value, I began to wonder about who is really minding the store and for that matter....who cares.

Gloria Felcyn wrote an e-mail to a shareholder shortly after the annual shareholders meeting this year and was very forthright in asking for 120 days to deliver news to shareholders. That time is running out and still, we have heard nothing from Gloria or our board of directors.

My husband and I invested a great deal of our retirement money into PTSC. We knew the risk but we felt confident back then that the people in charge of PTSC really did have investors' best interest at heart. I'm not so sure any longer. Why has there been no communication with shareholders? If there is nothing to hide then why not open the lines of communication and be more transparent about what is going on.

I for one am losing my faith in the ability of the entire management team and hope that shareholders are not dealing with the worlds only living heart donors who are running the company. Please help all of us to understand exactly what you are all doing every day to increase the share price.

Thanks for your time,

Laurie XXX
