A number of people have indicated via pm a willingness to have placed their name on the communication. It was the consensus that several was enough to make the point that it was not a lone crackpot. And too many names might have given the impression we were trying to apply undue pressure, which might have lowered any receptiveness to the content.

However there may be situations where pressure via additional names is perhaps more appropriate. Communication with Congress for example. Perhaps we may need to go there, but let's see if the USPTO responds first.
