"Almost every decision the BOD made in the past was initially well received by almost everyone on this forum. For some instances: like when they announced dividends, when they picked new CEOs or new board members, even going back when they signed all the agreements with TPL. At first that seemed a logical move. Why fight in court when joining forces seemed like a solid decision.
Now we have a gaggle of Monday morning QBs on this board. Easy to criticize after the fact."
I would also add the other people that were hood winked were investors who were led to believe the management and BOD of PTSC were competent and engaged. The BOD has dropped the ball in overseeing just about every aspect of the business (What to do with revenue, managing the MMP, who to hire, oversight of RG, oversight of TPL, ) and they were paid hansomly for it all without increasing share holder value. They've managed to blow though the 100 plus million dollars collected from the MMP with very little to show for it. They continue to fail miserably at bringing any product to market. and you say bravo BOD give us some more.
To top it off we wait for the USPTO which demonstrates yet another broken government agency that has lost its way. IMO an agency that has been corrupted or easily manipulated by big corporations with money rather than serving patent owners. Reexaminations need to be limited to one review or the life of the patent should be extended for a period of time after the reexaminations are completed. In instances where small companies are taking on corporate giants the process must be performed faster so the small company can survive the reexamination period.
