From my experience they will only be PO'd if there is some truth in the accusation (mostly sure that is, not 100%). With all these delays it sure seems fishy to me.
What kind of neighborhoods and houses do these people live in? What kind of cars do these people drive? Jewelry and clothing? What financial holdings do they have? etc..... you get the idea. If their paychecks match up, fine. If not, then I've got to wonder. Are these examiners bonded? Who backs them up? the sec or the gov. -- then I guess I'm reassured. Right? B.M. had the backing of the sec for what 20-35 years?
Here is a recent example ( there could be absolutely nothing wrong going on except the judge has created a suspicion/uncertainty ):
But the judge informed attorneys only minutes before the call that he would rule without hearing oral arguments. The hearing would not have been open to the public.
Separately, a number of environmental groups asked the court to release additional information about Feldman's financial interests.
The judge's financial disclosure report for 2008,
( two years ago and maybe three because of time to create the report)
the most recent available, shows holdings in at least eight petroleum companies or funds that invest in them, including Transocean Ltd., which owned the Deepwater Horizon. The report shows most of his holdings were valued at less than $15,000; it did not provide specific amounts.
15 K , but not specific? I hope someone posts the papers on the web if they ever are revealed. Do any of his family, friends and supporters have financial interests? Where are their reports?
The environmental groups want to know whether Feldman has a financial interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding. If so, he could be forced to disqualify himself from the case.
Feldman said in a court filing Thursday that his most recent financial disclosure report will be released by the federal courts' administrative office "as soon as their security protocol on the release of (the report) has been satisfied."
What does that mean? Shouldn't that have been out there all the time? People making decisions based on their personal interests not on the intrests of the greater good or safety.
By the way all the Toyotas are still on the road. These days do you ever hear of one crashing? No! Suddenly all Toyotas are safe, there has not been one crash due to gas pedal or carpets ( reported and made public ) LOL!!! What's a few more deaths and injuries when a whole economy and company is at stake?
