Dear pappythom.
Thank you for your inquiry. Thank you for your inquiry. We are sure you are aware, our attention has been brought to the Patriot Hub on several occasions these past few weeks and we are sympathetic to the challenges contributing members such as yourself experienced through this time.
As you are painfully aware, this is not the first time we have had to step in and remove dozens of messages and remind the community about what is acceptable behavior on our forums.
In fact, everybody was given a soft warning mid last week, to refrain from making any personal characterizations during the Holiday Weekend (see http://agoracom.com/ir/patriot/forums/discussion/topics/427564-reminder-acceptable-posting-behavior/messages/1401362#message).
As you may understand, both sides of the argument have been coming to us with mounting complaints about an alleged AGORACOM bias towards the other party. Let it be known that this is not the case; rather in an attempt to direct the forums attention back to matters of a material nature, we've deleted all topics and posts of a personal affair. A reminder of our six rules of use also adds to the mix.
Just as you believe you have chosen your words wisely while others twist your words, others believe they have chosen their words wisely and you are the one causing problems. They have equally compelling arguments and violation reports about your posts.
We don't play the "interpretation" game. We don't play the favourites game. Our Admin’s will call them as they see them. We are happy with the job they're doing because it's worked for a thousand other boards and 132,000 other people liked it last month also.
Nobody wants you or anybody to stop posting. Please keep doing so and we will jump in as well to at least support the efforts of others. We took some time to post because we were hoping the issue would resolve itself quickly. Once we realized there was no quick fix, we had to let you and the other parties know.
Our assumption is that you get overwhelmed with things because you take them on with such passion. That is a great trait to have - until it starts hurting you.
Nonetheless, we hope you can at least try to co-operate with your peers and our admin’s. If you feel there is just too much of a gap between you and them, then try to discuss it privately; kicking up dust on the forum serves nobody.
As we are sure some of you are aware, some messages have already been flagged as a violation and have been removed. We will be scoping the discussion as it transgressed as of this morning and remove any content that is not appropriate to the otherwise high standards we have set for ourselves here.
Thanks again for your participation and contributions within the AGORACOM Community.
Regards,
AGORACOM
