I agree that saying a new BoD can't do any worse is not a reason to change the board.
How about, a new board may be able to do a whole lot better. Why not give some others a chance. We have given the current board the benefit of the doubt over and over and over again and still nothing.
I would say to the new BoD....turn this company around.....proof positive in six months with no pay....or you're fired
Hire the wrong CEO...you're fired
Buy another company that is a failure....you're fired
Neglect to change the by-laws to reflect term limits and majority voting (not to mention) reduced compensation for Board....you're fired
Communicate with shareholders on a regular basis or you're fired
Hold another ASHM in Chicago in the dead of winter.....you're fired (just kidding).
