I don't mean to be picking on you, but the linked post also causes frustration.

I've already stated my intent. If there was an attempt at using strict parlimentary procedure, I would raise hell. It would be difficult to pose the question "how is this in the best interest of shareholders", up front and before vote, if this procedure were employed. Discussion of this main point and whatever else would be, IMO, mandatory. If such were not permitted, making it impossible for me to do what I envision as my primary purpose in being there, I'd resign in a heartbeat.
